It has been confirmed by Carpetright that gift cards will not be accepted at the stores that have been transferred to Tapi Group or online. All customers with an unredeemed gift card or outstanding order that has not been completed, are considered as creditors of Carpetright and would be required to contact the appointed administrators PWC
As a result of the Administration Carpetright are unfortunately unable to provide customer's with any refund. It is recommend that all customers check their purchase protection arrangements associated with their debit / credit card/finance arrangement (or similar payment method) to understand whether a refund is available through another source.
In the event that customer's are unable to secure any refund via their original method of payment, they will have the right to lodge an unsecured claim in the Administration estate of Carpetright Limited.
To submit a claim, PWC have advised that customers contact uk_carpetright_creditors@pwc.com providing their full name and corresponding address, and one of the team will arrange to send the customer the relevant information via letter in order to submit their unsecured claim.

Investigating
We are aware of the ongoing situation involving the acquisition of Carpetright and the closure of a number of stores nationwide. We are also aware this will raise a number of questions around Carpetright's gift card program, at this time gift cards cannot be redeemed nor are refunds able to be processed.
We are working closely with the processor to understand what further impact there may be to the gift card program. In the interim we have taken the decision to disable all further sales of Carpetright gift cards during this acquisition period.
